Our visit to the Yosemite National Park

The Gates of the Valley

You can find this spot, also known as Valley View, along Northside Drive near the western end of the valley, as you approach the valley exits. There'll be a pullout on your left with a dozen or so parking spots.

That's El Capitan, the world's tallest granite monolith, on the left, and Bridalveil Falls on the right.

Yosemite National Park, located in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California, is a national treasure. The park is home to two of the world's most beautiful waterfalls: Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil Fall, as well as the largest single granite rock on earth, known as El Capitan
